Team 1 students visited the West Orvis Street Cemetery on November 1st.  The students were given a brief history lesson by Nancy Bogosian and then were asked to complete several tasks at the cemetery.  Students collected data about the grave sites including names and dates. This information was collected so the students can analyze the data learn about history. Our students also took rubbings from some of the graves and they had the opportunity to conduct a scavenger hunt where the students were able to learn about local historical figures.  This project was made possible by the great help of the Massena Museum and the Massena Historian.
